For this project, the client wanted to convert a family room on the bottom floor of the home to a full master suite. We assisted in the layout choices and completed the entire project. We also removed a slider door and installed several windows. We removed everything in the room, down to the studs. We removed the fireplace as well. We routed the plumbing and ran all new electrical. We framed out the new bathroom rooms and closets and completed the electrical. Next was drywall, waterproofing and installing a pocket door, mud, prime and paint the whole room. Then, we custom built a floating vanity and built-in closet pieces, and tiled the shower area. Lastly, we put all the finishing touches on everything from flooring, custom baseboards, trim, caulking, etc. The extra challenge for this project was lining up the existing beams to balance the rest of the room layout.
